See Calendars and Happenings for two special events in July 2010 with Theo Leffman and Randall Darwall

Weavers Guild of the North Shore (WGNS) was incorporated in 2006 to educate and encourage creative weaving and textile arts.   It existed under the name North Shore Weavers Guild for over 50 years and serves the fiber artists of Chicago and its northern and western suburbs.  We get together monthly for programs and workshops.    With two other guilds we participate in the Fine Art of Fiber [FAOF], an annual show and sale in November held at the Chicago Botanic Garden.

We meet the first Thursday of every month (September through June), usually at 10 am.

Our
Nightweavers usually meet the second Thursday evening of the month in members' homes.

We're happy that you stopped by to visit and hope that you will come to one of our meetings and consider joining us.    You can contact us at wgnsil@gmail.com.   We're happy to answer any questions you have!

Meeting Location:
Trinity Lutheran Church
Community Room  (downstairs)
3637 Golf Rd.
Evanston, IL 60203
